​     Dellany's first stab at executive producing was when she rallied her big brother and friends to enter a North Carolina 48 Hour Film Festival. The no-budget sci-fi film didn't catch much buzz but what it took to make it left a positive, lasting impression on Dellany. She moved to Los Angeles to continue pursuing her acting career, however, after learning the hard way that Hollywood's patriarchal standards on female stereotypes weren't exiting anytime soon, she decided to change her destiny by producing her own content. Dellany’s first co-produced/created/written/starred-in original series was the multi-award winning comedy 2 Hopeful Spinsters with Michael Madsen. She is the associate producer and provides voice acting in Pink & Blue, starring Levar Burton and Darryl Hannah. Dellany is also producing and acting in the action-film short No Trace with James Kyson and Pia Sha. She is thrilled to be both Executive Producing and playing the role of Dr. Elena Marquez in the short-film SCHIZO.
